We all know the standard latex buckets. The pouring of wall paint from the bucket is hard without spilling the paint. When the latex bucket is empty, a big plastic bucket that takes up a lot of space in the trash can remains. A lot of paint remains in the bucket, and there is a lot of plastic processed in this packaging. Besides that, a round bucket takes up a lot more space than a square kind of packaging. As a solution to this, Global Paint has designed the Paint-in-the-box packaging.

In a cardboard box there is a synthetic bag in which the latex wall paint is held. This synthetic bag has a spout, making it easy to pour the paint out of the packaging without spilling. When the latex is used up the synthetic bag can easily be taken out of the box, and then it can be processed through a recycling method. The cardboard box can be processed as waste paper. Paint-in-the-box uses 30 percent less plastic and metal in regard to a bucket. The transporting costs and the costs of storage are over 35 percent lower.
