Digital Game Technology has developed a timer that can easily keep the time of multiple (up to a maximum of six) players of a game. This timer, the DGT Cube, has the shape of a cube, and a screen on every surface. On each screen the time of a player is visible. By laying the cube with the desired screen on top the timer for that particular player is activated. The timers of the DGT Cube have several modes so that, depending on the played game, the right time registrations can be used. Inaday for DGTInaday has assisted Digital Game Technology in researching whether protection was possible for the DGT Cube. For this purpose, we have executed an orientating novelty research, resulting in that there have not been found relevant publications. Next, we have drawn up a patent application for DGT, and applied that to protect the technology of the DGT Cube. Besides that, we have protected the shape of the product through a design right.
